Accident Knocks Out Power

Some Wichita Falls residents were in the dark Sunday morning, after a car took out a power pole. Wichita Falls Police say an SUV crashed into a pole on Holiday around Speedway. The crash knocked the pole to the ground causing the outage.
Officers had a number of streets blocked off to traffic as crews worked to restore electricity and fix the pole.
Police tell Newschannel 6 no live wires were on the ground and no residents were in danger.
Investigators believe sleep deprivation may be the cause of that accident.
