The Wichita Falls Area Food Bank, University Kiwanis Club and Cryovac are co-sponsoring the Annual School Food Drive "Students Against Hunger" on November 5th- thru November 16th.
Collection boxes and sacks for students to take home have been delivered by volunteers directly to the schools. The plastic bags donated by Cryovac, have a stamped letter to the parents asking for their help by filling the bag with food from their pantry.
Groceries collected through this November school drive will help fortify the supplies of our member agencies as a great number of Christmas baskets and emergency boxes are anticipated.
A "special plaque" will be awarded to the facility with the greatest per capita contribution in three categories: the Wichita Falls Independent School District, the Private and Parochial Schools, and the Pre-Schools, Kindergarten and Day Care Centers.
