Holliday's Jacob Cole rallied late in the voting to take home his second-career Texas Ford Player of the Week award!
He earned the nomination on the strength of a huge two-way game Friday night against City View.
He ran for over 250 yards and three touchdowns, while throwing for 190 yards and two more scores, accounting for all five Eagle touchdowns in a 35-0 win that clinched a playoff spot for Holliday.
He edged out Rider's D.J. Arnold, Burkburnett's Bobby Ingram and Graham's Ben Davis to win a close race. Every nominee received at least 15.7% of the more than 1,500 votes.
Jacob's older brother Tyler also won the award back in 2010.
