THE Kitchen: Turkeys Needed

Calling all turkeys!

THE Kitchen is getting ready for Thanksgiving and needs your help. The non-profit's officials are asking for frozen turkey donations as part of the organization's Meals on Wheels program and Kid's Meals program.

Turkeys will be accepted Friday until 4 p.m. They should be frozen and 10 to 13 pounds. If you are unable to donate a turkey, money donations are also accepted. Volunteer drivers and servers are also needed.

In addition to the double meals program, THE Kitchen will be serving its Thanksgiving Holiday Dinner on Thursday, November 15, 2012.

The organization will provide a traditional Thanksgiving meal, featuring turkey and dressing, at its Red Door (from 11:30am - 12:30pm) and Green Door (from 12 - 12:30pm) facilities.

Tickets are available for purchase until Wednesday 3 p.m.:

Seniors 60+ - $3
Under 60 - $6.25

Red Door is located on 1107 Burnett St. - Wichita Falls, TX
Green Door is located on 1100 Smith. - Wichita Falls, TX

The preparation of the turkeys will be assisted by American National Bank of Wichita Falls.
