Driver Missing After High Speed Chase

A high speed chase in Archer County ends with a woman in jail and a man on the run.

Trooper Tony Fulton said officers tried to pull over two suspects in a vehicle early Monday at 12:05 a.m. for speeding along Hwy 277 westbound toward Seymour. The vehicle took off toward a rest stop outside Mankins, turned back east and stopped again.

The male driver ran off and is still at large.

The female passenger was taken into custody at Archer Co. Jail. She was charged with tampering with physical evidence after throwing drug paraphernalia out the window.
