16th Annual Wichita Adult Literacy Council Spelling Bee

The 16th Annual Wichita Literacy Council Spelling Bee will be Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. It's taking place at the Woman's Forum, 2120 Speedway. You can enjoy a Branding Iron catered barbecue meal for only $12.
Eighteen teams are competing in this year's contest. Audience members can pay to play an audience participation game and can "Sting" other audience members into the hot seat where they have to spell a word or buy anti-venom to get off the hook.
