Crowell's Mitchell Parsley Wins Player of the Week

Crowell sophomore quarterback Mitchell Parsley won the final Texas Ford Player of the Week award for the 2012 season, outvoting three other Texoma standouts.

Parsley had an outstanding all-around effort in Week 10 at Bryson, throwing for three touchdowns, passing for three more, and intercepting three passes on defense.

He also ran for 187 yards as the Wildcats won 65-16 to earn a playoff spot.

We'll be in Crowell on Thursday to hear from Parsley about winning the award, and the Wildcats' tough playoff opener against #1 Ira on Friday in Haskell.

Our other nominees for the Week 10 award were Munday's Roddrick Taylor, Throckmorton's Levi Taylor and Petrolia's Will Morath.
