A barn fire set flames to surrounding hay bales just east of Hwy 369 on Hwy 367 in Iowa Park.

Billowing smoke could be seen from the Newschannel 6 station. We were told it was a welding equipment barn that caught fire.

The barn's owner told us he has no clue as to how it started.

Traffic was diverted on Hwy 367 till the flames were under control. Lanes opened back up around 10:45 a.m.

We're working to find out what caused the fire.
