The general election in Wichita County ended up costing more than officials first thought. Monday county commissioners will act to move money within the budget to cover just over $39,000 to pay election workers. Judge Gossom said when commissioners budget for elections it is an "educated guess" and often times, depending on many factors of that election, the cost changes. Commissioners meet Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the Wichita County Courthouse.
