TxDOT maintenance workers will close ALL LANES of Northbound US 281 at Jacksboro Hwy in Wichita Falls Tuesday morning for necessary repairs. Milling machines will be working to improve ride quality in the area.
There is a detour available. All motorists will exit at Jacksboro Hwy, continue up Frontage Road, and enter at the next on-ramp North of Jacksboro Hwy. Commuters be ready for possible delays.
The work only affects Northbound traffic. The lanes will be reopened as soon as possible. This work could be rescheduled depending on weather.
Six on the Scene will also keep a close eye on this closure for morning drivers on Newschannel 6 Early Morning and This Morning.
