Camp Fire USA North Texas Council members and their families will come together for an exciting and fun evening at Harrell Park on Monday,  December 3rd  at 5:30 p.m. -7 p.m.

Santa will arrive by secret mode to Harrell Park to pay a visit to the children and give candy canes to the children.  Hot dogs, S'mores and hot chocolate will be served by members of the Camp Fire Board and the Wichita Falls Optimist Club.           

This event will continue the 47-year tradition of service to others who are less fortunate. The children will bring toys that they have collected to give to the Salvation Army.   They will also bring canned food--one for each of Santa's reindeer to be given to the Food Bank.  Jerry Taylor, President of Camp Fire USA North Texas Council and Santa Claus will present the toys and food to the Salvation Army and the Food Bank. 

Members of the community are invited to donate toys or food for the Christmas event by bringing their items to the Camp Fire office, 2414 Ninth Street, or to the event   Anyone wishing to join Camp Fire USA may attend and pay a membership fee of $10 to participate throughout the year.
