A man is accused of committing two robberies in one day.
Police said Roger Bridges, 30, went into the Quick Stop on Holliday Rd. Thursday evening around 6:20. There he grabbed two 40 oz. beers and told the clerk he wanted the beer for free along with $20 from the register. The clerk said no, and Bridges he left with the beers on his bicycle.
Later that night, police said Bridges demanded money from another person on a bike. This time the victim told police that Bridges showed a black handled knife, and successfully took an undisclosed amount of money.
The victim gave police Bridges' s location on the 1100 block of 23rd St. where he was arrested. He's charged with two counts of aggravated robbery.
