Electronic Waste Recycling at MSU

Posted: Updated:

The Geosciences Club at Midwestern State University helped save the environment Saturday. Members collected thousands of pounds of electronics to recycle. It was the second annual e-waste recycling event. It's an effort to keep dangerous heavy metals out of our local landfills.

Texomans dropped off everything from TV's and laptops to speakers and printers. The club will then deliver the electronics to a recycling services agency in Dallas that will dispose of them properly.
