There was lots of shopping going on in Archer City Saturday. Shopping for Hope, an event put on by Relay for Life, brought in lots of home vendors. All the vendors who came to the event will donate a portion of proceeds to Relay for Life. Organizers say the money goes a long way in helping patients.
"The American Cancer Society uses the money in many ways," said Event Chair, Janell Coleman. "Whether it's directly given to a patient say for use on a gas card or maybe they're going to Texas Oncology to be able to get free hats, wigs or turbans."
This was the second year of the event and organizers say they had a good turnout.
