Fiesta Navidena: Christmas with a Latin Flair

Sunday afternoon Telemundo Texoma organized Fiesta Navidena. Families across Texoma came to the fun filled event with a Latin flair. Folklorico dancers lit up the dance floor, singers sang away to Spanish tunes and toys and goodies were given away. This is the second year of the event. Organizers says it's a way for the Latino community to come together before Christmas and celebrate.

"There's so many events in the community already in regards to Christmas but again we're missing that Latin touch," said Alicia Perez, Telemundo Events Coordinator. "I think this will help our traditions to maintain our traditions and our culture."

"It was awesome, more people were here this year and I think everybody had fun," said Patricia Dominguez.
