4 Men Indicted For Sexual Assault Of A Child

Four men were indicted Wednesday each accused of sexually abusing at least one child.

William Sexton, 33, Iowa Park was indicted by the Wichita County Grand Jury on one count of sexual abuse of a child-continuous, and one count of aggravated sexual assault of a child. He was arrested after the mother caught her 8 and 5-year-old children in a sexually compromising position.

Lewis Campbell, 40, of Sweetwater was indicted on four counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, and one count of indecency with a child. The victim had told Child Protective Services at Patsy's House that the alleged assault began in August 2011.

James Petty, 61, of Burburnett was indicted on 7 counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, and two counts of indecency with a child. He is accused sexually assaulting a young girl. The victim told police that Petty sexually assaulted her several times. When police confronted him about the abuse, he initially denied it, but then finally admitted to it.

Raymond Ray Slagle, 65, of Wichita Falls was indicted on three counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, and two counts of indecency with a child. He is being held on a $1,000,000 bond. According to the arrest affidavit the alleged abuse lasted from the time the victim was six until the age of eleven.

All four of the suspects were arrested in October.
