Santa Claus is getting help from the Wichita Falls Police Department this week. A Wichita Falls ISD senior helped raise more than $1,000 for the Kids, Cops and Christmas project. That donation along with a donation from a local business is what police are using to buy a number of presents for kids in the community.
Wednesday, officers are buying the gifts requested by the kids at Wal Mart on Lawrence. Friday they will deliver them to the children at United Regional and the Children's Home, 1101 30th Street.
