Sheppard's Holiday Exodus

Posted: Updated:

At 10 p.m. Friday thousands of Sheppard airmen and airwomen left the base and headed home. It's what they call Holiday Exodus.

"We have about 4,000 airmen leaving technical training," said Tech Sgt. Derek Dingle. "They're going home for the holidays to spend with their families."

For these airmen just waiting to leave had them reminiscing over their family holiday tradition.  Newschannel 6 Photojournalist Brandon Guidry was there for the excitement. Click on the video for more on Holiday Exodus.
