A Clay County teen is facing serious charges accused of burglarizing two houses on the same street.

Deputy Jason McGuire was called out to the 1000 block of Pitts Rd. Monday morning, just before 5:30, for a burglary call.

About a block away, the officer spotted Nicholas Tyler Coleman. McGuire says the 18-year-old was carrying firearms that were reported stolen from the house. Less than two hours later, the Clay County Sheriff's Office received another burglary call from the house Coleman was found near.

Coleman is charged with two counts of burglary of habitation. The bond for his first charge is set for $100,000 dollars. A bond has not been set for the second charge at this time.
