The new Pak gives IT admins the ability to enforce, manage and disable settings in the file transfer application.
(PRWEB) December 31, 2012
PolicyPak Software, a leader in desktop management and group policy software, has released their latest software pak, which makes it easy for IT admins to dictate settings in CoreFTP.
The pre-configured Pak used in conjunction with PolicyPak Professional software allows IT admins to enforce dozens of configuration settings, disable and even hide settings from the users being managed. Admins then enforce those settings using Group Policy, SCCM or their own management tool. Screenshots of the application can be found here.
"That is how incredibly easy it is for you to use PolicyPak to manage and lockdown CoreFTP and tons of other desktop applications," says Jeremy Moskowitz, an expert on Group Policy and the founder of PolicyPak.
PolicyPak Professional customers have free access to the CoreFTP pak, as well as dozens of other pre-configured applications. Some of the most popular applications provide solutions for Java, Flash, Firefox and Shockwave. Solutions are also available for less popular applications and custom homegrown applications with the PolicyPak Design Studio.
IT Admins can find out more about PolicyPak by attending a Group Policy Webinar at the PolicyPak Website, or by calling (800) 883-8002.
