Star your new year off on the right foot, literally. Enjoy an afternoon hike and learn about plants and nature. Lake Arrowhead is hosting the hike Tuesday afternoon. It's free and open to the public.
"Lake Arrowhead is hosting our 2nd annual First Day Hike that'll take place, January 1. We will be having two separate hikes and it is a very informative, kid friendly hike. Coming out to Lake Arrowhead will give people the opportunity to learn about wildlife and experience wildlife; an experience you don't get inside the city," said Fernando Barrera.
The first hike is a quarter mile hike. The second hike is a five mile hike. All you need to do is stop by the entrance at Lake Arrowhead.
