Rider Alumni Soccer Games

The High School soccer regular season is close to here.

One sign of that is the cold weather, and another is the alumni games that were played Wednesday afternoon at Memorial Stadium!

The Rider Raiders and Lady Raiders took on their alumni on the new turf of Joe Golding Field, and both were victorious.

The Lady Raiders (#3 in Region I-4A according to TASCO) defeated their alumni 5-0, while the Raiders (#1 in I-4A) won by a 3-1 final.

All-American Christian Okeke had a pair of goals and Amani Colbert had the other for the boys.

Hirschi will have its alumni game on Friday, January 4th, then Wichita Falls High School will have its game on the 8th.

The regular season officially begins on Thursday, January 10th. Most Texoma teams will be playing in tournaments that weekend.

The United Invitational will have the first varsity games in Texoma, with Rider and WFHS meeting Thursday, Jan. 17th at 5:00 p.m. at Memorial Stadium.
