North Central Texas College is now enrolling students for the Drop Out Recovery Grant Program in Bowie.
The Drop Out Recovery Grant Program is a free GED preparation course targeted to students who dropped out of a Texas high school, or completed high school but did not receive their diploma because they failed the state-required tests. Eligible students must be between the ages of 18-25.
Students will receive test preparation in GED and may be eligible for further scholarship opportunities.
Students must attend an assessment session to participate in the program. Admission sessions for the Drop Out Recovery Program are Jan. 10, Feb. 21 or Feb. 28 inside the library at Bowie High School.
