Burglary Ring Bust: Mug Shots Released

WICHITA FALLS - The Wichita County Sheriff's Office released the names and mug shots of the 10 suspects arrested in an ongoing burglary ring bust.

It was around 3:45 a.m. when two Wichita County Sheriff's deputies saw a suspicious vehicle driving down the Floral Heights edition on Monroe. They decided to pull over the driver.

The Wichita County Sheriff David Duke says, "As soon as they stopped the vehicle two males exit the vehicle and took off running leaving the vehicle with a female passenger in the truck."

One of the deputies took the female into custody. She's been identified as Danielle Megan Brown and officials said she is a former Wichita Falls Police Department dispatcher. The other deputy chased down and arrested one of the males who ran out of the truck. Unfortunately they weren't able to catch the other one who has been identified as 34-year-old Jason Martin.

When police began investigating the pick up the 3 suspects were in Duke says, "It was determined that the vehicle was stolen as well as I believe there were some items in the vehicles that came out of car burglaries."

The items and vehicle were stolen Wednesday night from the Country Club and Harrison Rd. area. But the lucky break for deputies didn't stop there.

"The female suspect began to cooperate with us who we have in custody at this time and brought us to this location. She gave information that this is where some stolen property is being stored at," said Duke.

Deputies executed a search warrant and busted in a house in the 1300 block of Burnett St. Inside was a female who was taken into custody as well as additional stolen property from Wednesday night.

Meanwhile other deputies headed to the Circle Inn Motel where they were told more stolen items were being kept.

Duke says, "We did get into the room with a search warrant and we have 4 people in custody right now and we do have different sections of meth. We do have drugs in the room."

Shortly after another male was arrested on Jacqueline and N. Beverly Rd. as he was driving away from the motel. The sheriff says drugs were also found in his vehicle.

It was around 3:30 p.m. when deputies finally caught Martin at the Econo Lodge with a woman. Both were taken to the Wichita Falls Police Department to be questioned regarding thefts from the night before.
