Lawton Woman Shot To Death In Home

LAWTON, Okla. (AP) - Authorities in Lawton are piecing together the murder a 35-year-old woman who was found shot to death in her home.
 
Police said the Sarah McCoy was found dead Wednesday shortly after 6 p.m.
 
Family members called police after they were unable to contact her. Once there, officers found the woman suffering from a gunshot wound.
 
Police said the McCoy's 1999 maroon Buick LeSabre was missing.

Lawton police found her car Thursday abandoned about 5 blocks away from her house on 19th and Hoover. Police have it at an impound lot.

Police said they have no suspects, no person of interest and no signs of struggle from the victim.
