Renovating Wichita Falls Municipal Airport

Wichita Falls City Councilors are meeting Tuesday, and are set to approve just over $217,000 on the Wichita Falls Municipal Airport's Taxiway Rehabilitation Project.

$48,000 will be on engineer and quality assurance of the repairs, required by the FAA.

Another $135,000 is for actual repairs themselves, while the remaining almost $34,000 is for some additional repairs to the a ramp, not included in the original repair orders.

The FAA is paying for 90% of the project, while the city is picking up the rest.
