If you are trying to lose weight as a new year resolution, the YMCA is offering some incentives that may help you stay on track.  It's called the Subway Weight Loss Challenge.  Here's how it works:

  • Participants must weigh in at either the 1. Family YMCA (5001 Bartley Dr.), 2. Downtown YMCA (1010 9th St.), or 3. Lawton YMCA (#5 Southwest 5th St)
  • Now through Jan. 25, anytime between 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
  • Contest ends on April 5th.
  • Three winners will be selected based upon largest percentage of weight lost.
  • FIRST PRIZE is $1,000 Wardrobe Makeover provided by Dillard's Department Store,  2013 Giant Sedona bike size small (Value $440) and a 2013 Cannondale Quick 6 bike size medium (Value $480), $350 SUBWAY® card, a 12 month free Family membership to Wichita Falls-Lawton YMCA (Value $844). Approximate retail value of First Place Prizes: $3,114.
  • SECOND PRIZE is $350 SUBWAY® card and a 12 month free Individual membership to Wichita Falls-Lawton YMCA (Value $446). Approximate retail value of the Second Place Prizes: $796.
  • THIRD PRIZE is $350 SUBWAY® card and a 12 month free Individual membership to Wichita Falls-Lawton YMCA (Value $446). Approximate retail value of the Second Place Prizes: $796.
  • You do not have to be a YMCA member to participate in the contest.
