Altus Mandatory Water Conservation Order Lifted

Posted: Updated:

The Mandatory Water Conservation Order for Altus has been lifted. However, city leaders are still urging residents to conserve water to offset the ongoing drought.

The city of Altus was put under mandatory water conservation Tuesday afternoon  because repairs were being made to a line from Tom Steed lake.

Residents were asked not to water outside as the city switched to water from the reservoir.
