A man suspected of robbing a convenience store in Wichita Falls early Thursday morning is now in custody.
Wichita Falls Police Lieutenant Kyle Collier told Newschannel 6 the suspect entered the Stripes convenience store located on 10th Street and Holliday Street a little before 1 a.m. Thursday, robbing the store at gunpoint.
The man left the store on foot, taking with him an undetermined amount of money.
Authorities searched the area and a short time later, found and arrested the suspect in the 1700 block of 10th St. Police used the store's surveillance video to identify him.
Officials discovered a gun and money stashed away behind the nearby Walgreens store on Brook Ave. in downtown Wichita Falls.
The man faces aggravated robbery charges. Officials have not yet released his name. No one was hurt during the robbery.
