Youth Learn About Guns Through Trap Shooting Course

Wichita County 4-H and the Northwest Texas Field & Stream Association are teaming up to provide a Youth Trap Shooting Certification Course for Boys & Girls ages 8 years (and in the 3rd grade) to 18 years.

This is a 7 week course with classes held every Tuesday and Thursday from February 7th until March 21st.  The initial class on February 7th is from 6 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Course participants will learn the proper techniques and safety elements involved in using a firearm and the rules and expectations of the course. All following classes will be one-on-one, hands-on instruction.  The course will conclude with a graduation ceremony on Thursday, March 21st.  All classes will be held at the Northwest Texas Field & Stream Association Gun Range on Old Friberg Road.
