Rebecca Jane Fisher Chapter Of DRT Celebrates 50 Years

The Rebecca Jane Fisher Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas is celebrating its 50th anniversary.  The celebration will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Museum of North Texas History, 720 Indiana.

There will be scrapbooks and memorabilia concerning the chapter.  Kenny Mayo will provide music and Gail Piper will give a monologue on the life of Rebecca Jane Fisher, the chapter's namesake.  There will also be refreshments served.
