A City of Electra employee is accused of sexually assaulting an underaged girl.
The affidavit states 25-year-old Benjamin Campbell forced a 13-year-old girl in December to perform oral sex on him and have sexual intercourse at his workplace.
The victim told her mother, and the mother notified police. The girl had a forensic interview at Patsy's House on Wednesday.
The victim told police that Campbell took her to the City of Electra Public Works Barn to show her where he worked and made advances toward her. She said when she refused, he physically forced her to perform sexual acts on him.
Campbell was interviewed and admitted they did have sexual relations in the City Barn but that it was consensual.
Electra police arrested Campbell Thursday before 1 a.m. He is charged with aggravated sexual assault and is being held in the Wichita Co. Jail. His bond is set for $100,000.
Newschannel 6 will continue to follow this investigation.
