The Catholic Daughters of the Americas court #309 will be having their 10th annual King Ranch Dinner at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in the parish hall on 9th St. from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. Saturday.
This dinner was started 10 years ago to raise funds to support our local charities. This dinner has now become the Catholic Daughters court #309 largest fund raiser. They serve King Ranch casserole, green bean, pinto beans or black beans, salad and dessert and drinks. The price per plate is $7.50 for adults and $3.50 for kids 5-12 years of age.
The money earned supports groups like the Women Christian Job Corps, MSU campus ministry, and Habitat for Humanity.
This year, they have been given 15 items to have a chance drawing. Tickets will be going for $1 each or (6) for $5
