UPDATE: Two Flee Accident On Armory Rd.

Wichita Falls Police said once suspect is in custody and another is still on the loose. This is following an early morning accident.

When officers arrived on scene at Armory Rd. and 31st St. around 2:30a.m. Saturday they saw two people running away. Police said the tan Chevrolet pickup was left on scene, heavily damage. The extent of the damage on the vehicle, lead police to believe one or both of the suspects are injured.

Police said it appears the driver was going over the speed limit on Armory, when they hit a dip and lost control of their vehicle. The driver than slammed the vehicle into a pole and tree.

Based on the vehicle's information, police believe they know who was the driver.

The passenger was later arrested for Public Intoxication.

    Wichita Red and the Songbird performs tonight at Live on the Lake on July 27. The concert started at 6:30 and last about two hours.  Live on the Lake is hosted by the Wichita Falls Museum of Art at Midwestern State University. There are seven concerts throughout the summer. After tonight there is only one left.  11th Street Saints will perform on August 10th at the Amphitheater at Sikes Lake.
