WICHITA FALLS - The City of Wichita Falls Off Leash Dog Park could soon be getting a water fountain for thirsty pups.
The dog park located in Lake Wichita Park, will be receiving a grant of $2000 from The Nutro Company, Monday at 5 p.m. Parks and Recreation Director Jack Murphy and representatives from the Dog Park Support Group will be on hand to accept the grant.
Alex Borrego and his Dog Park Support Group applied for the grant in an effort to fund the installation of a water fountain at the park.
The Nutro Company is a pet food company specializing in the latest advances and innovations in pet nutrition since 1926.
