Backdoor Theatre Gala

Posted: Updated:

Backdoor Theatre is gearing up to host its second Gala.  The first was in 2011 and this time, it will be held March 2 at the Wichita Falls Country Club.

The Gala raises funds and community awareness of Backdoor Theatre.  The money raised will go toward renovations to seating areas, better lighting, electrical equipment and the dinner-serving area for the dinner stage.

Tickets are $75 per person, including dinner, silent auction and entertainment. Three Backdoor alumni who have made it big in show business will be back in W.F. to perform.  They include: Rich Affannato, James Higginbotham and Tyler Wayne Smith who have performed all over, including in New York. Rich was also a producer on Broadway for "Peter and The Star Catcher," which won some Tony Awards in June. He and Tyler both grew up here; James has a music degree from MSU.

The deadline for reserving tickets is Feb. 23.
