BBB Offers A Number Of Free Services

BBB has a number of services available to the public for free.

1. Text Program-you can receive BBB alerts directly on your cell phone by texting "BBB" to 72727. They normally send one out once a week on the latest scam or development in the community.

2. Scam Stopper-Have you seen a scam or been affected by one? Let them know your experience on the Scam Stopper page at www.bbb.org. You can also learn about common scams and how to avoid them.

3. BBB facebook page-If you haven't already, find and like us on facebook. Better Business Bureau of North Central Texas. We post 3-4 times a day with inspirational quotes, business ethics topics, current scams and alerts. We also repost job openings from our Accredited Businesses.

4. Torch Award Pictures-Speaking of facebook, they have recently added all the Torch Award pictures to their facebook page. Feel free to browse the pictures and see the nominees, attendees and scholarship recipients.

5. Nominate a Business-now that the Torch Awards have come and gone maybe one of your favorite businesses was not a winner or nominee. Head over to their web page and nominate them. It's free for all to participate and gives great recognition to some great businesses.
