WICHITA FALLS - If you're planning to attend college in the fall, the first step is filling out your FAFSA Free Application for Federal Student Aid. If you're not sure what to do, your North Texas Area United Way wants to help.
United Way can help you get financially ready for college, technical or graduate school at their free FAFSA filing day at The HUB at 115 E. Wichita Street Saturday, February 16. Assistance will be available from 1 - 6 p.m.
Representatives will be on hand from Midwestern State University, Vernon College and American Commercial College to answer questions and help you take the right steps to get the college financial aid you need.
Information and documents will be needed to complete the process, including social security number, driver's license, banking and income tax forms.
For a complete list of things you'll need to bring with you, contact Mary Chaney at North Texas Area United Way at (940) 322-8638.
