KAUZ-TV, in Wichita Falls, TX, has an immediate opening for a News Producer.  Responsibilities include selecting, writing, and showcasing all stories for newscasts; reviewing stories for accuracy and ethical standards, implement local, national, and social media content into newscasts, update station website daily and assisting News Director as needed.  Qualified candidate must be detail oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and work well as part of a team in a fast paced, high stress environment and have knowledge of current events.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills are imperative.  A degree in broadcast journalism and/or previous AP or News Production Assistant experience is preferred. Valid driver's license and clean driving record is required.
