LAWTON - Police are investigating a north Lawton shooting that injured an officer and a suspect. Officers are searching for the second suspect.
Lawton police said an officer responded to a call near 26th and Cache. The officer exchanged gunfire with two suspects. The officer and one suspect were shot. No word on either of their conditions.
The suspect still on the run. He is described as a black male wearing a black hoodie.
Officers said residents should be on alert for anything suspicious.
Newschannel 6 will continue to follow this shooting investigation. We'll have an update on the officer and suspect's condition as soon as we get that information.
