Ex-Teacher Sentenced To Prison For Child Pornography

Prosecutors said a former North Texas teacher was sentenced to eight years in prison for having sexual relations with three separate juveniles.

On one occasion Willis Bassham video taped an encounter while at school.

The former McKinney resident was sentenced Friday for possession of child pornography. The 40-year-old pleaded guilty to the charge in December.

He taught at Garland High School and authorities said he admitted to engaging in sexual acts with three girl who were students.

Bassham also admitted to producing images and videos of two of the girls engaged in sexually explicit conduct.  He also had videos on his cell phone of himself and one of the minors.
