Appeal Considered For Execution

An appeal is being considered by the US Supreme Court from a north Texas man who is set to be executed Tuesday night.

Ronnie Threadgill faces lethal injection Tuesday evening in Huntsville for shooting and killing 17-year-old Dexter McDonald.

The crime happened about 60 miles south of Dallas.

Threadgill was arrested over 12-years-ago.

The 40-year-old would be the third Texas prisoner to be executed this year.
