House Fire In Wichita Falls

A house fire happened early Thursday morning in Wichita Falls.

According to Battalion Chief Lynn Holzer, nine units were sent to the residence located in the 1500 block of Taylor St. at 2:20 a.m.

It took fire cruise about an hour to put out the fire.  There was extensive damage to the attic and other parts of the residence.

One person was taken to United Regional Hospital with smoke inhalation.

There was $50,000 loss to the structure and it appears that it is a complete loss.

Holzer said that they will be monitoring the structure for a couple of hours.
