Big Money Approved For New Sheriff's Office Patrol Units

The Wichita County Sheriff's Office is getting four new patrol vehicles.

Wichita County Commissioners on Monday approved spending more than $100,000 on the cars. The Sheriff's Office will spend $21,000 each on four Dodge Police Interceptors. The Sheriff's Office will also spend an additional $4,200 on each unit to install proper equipment.

The vote was unanimous.
