Armonty Bryant Arrested in Oklahoma

Former Wichita Falls High School star Armonty Bryant was charged with Driving Under the Influence Monday in Ada, Oklahoma after being arrested early Saturday morning.

Bryant, who was taken in the seventh round of the NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns, previously pleaded no contest to charges of marijuana distribution in a school zone.

Bryant was pulled over early Saturday near the football stadium at East Central University in Ada, where he played in college.

Tests showed he had a blood-alcohol level of .098, higher than Oklahoma's .08 legal limit.

When the Browns drafted Bryant, they said they knew about his prior arrest but believed he was "past his mistakes."
