It's been a very slow election for Wichita Falls this Saturday.
City Clerk Lydia Ozuna said only 419 people voted early. That's the lowest she has ever seen for early voting. "We usually get over 1,000," said Ozuna. "So, this is very low numbers."
Ozuna went around to all 15 polling locations Saturday to check in, and she said it was slow at all of them.
There are three City Council races in Wichita Falls, but only two of them are contested. Those races are for District 1 and District 2 Councilor. The third race, for Councilor-At-Large, does have two names on the ballot, but only Michael Smith is deemed eligible.
