Posted: Updated:

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma State's Gage Green, a 2011 Rider High School graduate, is the Big 12 Conference baseball Player of the Week after leading the Cowboys to two wins over arch-rival Oklahoma.

Green went 7-for-10 in the three-game weekend series against the Sooners.

He drove in what proved to be the winning run in Friday's game with a two-out eighth inning single. He then scored what proved to be the winning run in Saturday's game when he stole home with two outs in the eighth.

OSU won both Friday and Saturday's games by 4-3 scores while OU rallied to win Sunday's game 5-4.

Green, the son of Rider coach Scot Green, led the Raiders to the 2011 4A State Championship, then helped lead the Burkburnett Blacksox 17U-Black team to an AABC Don Mattingly World Series championship that summer.
