Wichita Falls Summer Feeding Program About To Kick Off

The summer feeding program will soon get underway. The Food Service Department will be operating 10 sites throughout the city. This program is open to children from the ages of 1 year to 18 years of age.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided Monday through Friday at the following sites:

  • June 5-18, June 27-July 3, July 8-19:
    Hirschi High School  - 3106 Borton  (Breakfast: 7:30-8:00, Lunch: 12:00-12:30)
  • June 27-July 3, July 8-19:
    Wichita Falls High School - 2149 Avenue H.  (Breakfast: 7:30-8:00, Lunch: 12:00-12:30)     
  • Rider High School - 4611 Cypress  (Breakfast: 7:30-8:00, Lunch: 12:00-12:30)
  • June 11-26:
    Barwise Jr. High  -  3807 Kemp  (Breakfast: 7:30-8:00, Lunch: 11:00- 12:00)
  • June 4-26:                                                                                                                        Southern Hills Elem.  - 3920 Armory Rd.  (Breakfast: 7:30-8:00, Lunch: 10:45-12:15)
                      
    This site will serve breakfast and lunch without charge to children who live in the area of these schools.  No application is necessary.

The following sites will be serving lunch only, Monday through Friday, June 3- August 9, 2013:      

  • Northeast Boys & Girls Club -  119 E. Wichita St. (Lunch served 12:30-1:30)
    Central Boys & Girls Club - 1318 6th St. (Lunch served 11:00-12:00)
    Northwest Boys & Girls Club - 1402 N. Beverly (Lunch served 12:00-1:00)
    Southeast Boys & Girls Club - 3301 Armory  (Lunch served 12:00-1:00)

The following site will be serving lunch only Monday through Friday, June 3 - June 21, 2013:

  • Campfire USA - 2524 Terrace  (Lunch served 12:00 - 1:00)
