Nighthawks to Face Unbeaten Drillers in Championship

The Wichita Falls Nighthawks will face the West Texas Drillers Sunday afternoon at Memorial Stadium for the inaugural PAFL championship.

The SportClips Championship game kicks off at three and features two undefeated teams.

The Nighthawks (11-0) have the league's top offense, scoring over 58 points per game in their regular season and playoff games.

The Drillers, also 11-0, have allowed a league-low 4.6 points per game, though that number was skewed a bit higher after a 36-32 win over North Texas in the semifinals. In the regular season the Drillers allowed a total of 19 points in ten games.

The Nighthawks are hoping to take advantage of a large home-field advantage Sunday, but also expect the Midland-based Drillers to bring a contingent of fans of their own.

Tickets are available at the gate, and also at the Nighthawks' team store in Parker Square in Wichita Falls.
