76th Oil Bowl Features 15 D-I Signees

A week from Saturday, the 76th Oil Bowl game will have a change in format from tradition.

Instead of Texas against Oklahoma, it will be a matchup of East and West Texas in the all-star game.

This year's game boasts a slew of talent. Look through the rosters and you'll find 15 Division-I signees between the two teams, including five heading to major, BCS conference schools.

The biggest name of that bunch is probably Texas Tech-bound Dee Paul of Munday, and if you've never seen him play he is easily worth the $10 ticket because he is truly electrifying.

There will also be nine players heading to Midwestern State, so you can come out and get a look at the future of the program.

All-told there will be a dozen Texoma players, plus a few coaches. Seymour's Keith Ivy is the head coach of the West, assisted by his own assistant Toby Williams and Munday's Patrick Corcoran and Ronny Lowrance.

Tickets are $10 for General Admission and $15 for Reserved and are available at the Maskat Shrine, Jerry's Sporting Goods and Bobby Evans Sporting Goods.

You can also order tickets by phone, with your credit card, at 766-4511.
